The all inclusive Boulder River Outpost places you in the heart of one of the most spectacular valleys in all of Montana. The Boulder River cascades through Montana's highest mountains with the Beartooth Mountains to the east and the Absaroka Mountains to the west. The Boulder River Outpost is located on the banks of the East Boulder River, just 800 metres (1/2 mile) from the main Boulder River and 32 kilometres (20 miles) from the Yellowstone River.

From this location there is a variety of lightly fished waters including access to private ranches, strictly permitted rivers and technical spring creeks. The dry fly opportunities in the Boulder Valley and its surrounding waters are some of the best in Montana. After a great day of fishing, anglers return to the rustic and comfortable cabins and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the camp cook. If you haven't had enough, you can always grab a rod for a few more casts on the East Boulder River or enjoy the sweeping views of the ranch country where Robert Redford's "The Horse Whisperer" was filmed.  The Outpost is the perfect location for small groups who want a lot of fishing variety with a unique lodging experience.

The accommodations consist of two cabins and a games room. The smaller bunkhouse cabin has three bedrooms, a living area, full kitchen and single bath. The larger main cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a larger kitchen, mudroom and wader room. Each cabin has a wood stove for heat and ambiance. The Outpost can accommodate groups of four to ten anglers. Your guides and camp cook stay with your group at the Outpost to prepare all the meals, tell stories and engage guests in some good hearted lawn games after a day On The Water.
